Noble is our highest grade and most spacious room, occupying the entire top floor with views out onto the rolling hills of the Lyth Valley. Highlights include a super-king-sized bed, themed lighting, twin roll top baths and an over-sized shower.
The Punch Bowl is an old Lakeland Inn nestled in the hills above Windermere. Guests feel truly at home here with our roaring fires, comfy sofas, oak beams and Westmorland flagged floors. Outside, honeysuckle rambles the walls around a sunny terrace and there are walks from the doorstep.
Our restaurant is nationally renowned and its most famous dishes are the Twice-Baked Cheese Soufflé, Dry Aged Creedy Carver Duck Breast and the Lemon Tart with Damson Sorbet. Popular, more recent additions include the Prawn Tempura, Glazed Beetroot & Butternut Squash and the Chocolate Orange Crémeux. The ingredients for which come from our own farm wherever possible, with an orchard, veggie patch and herb garden. We also have an extensive wine list and excellent range of local ales.
